ESG Officer (m/f)

Function

You act as the lead driver and project manager of all ESG-related actions for the Galactic Group worldwide. You are the bridge between market and government expectations and the company's sustainability strategy. In addition, you are the face of the company when it comes to internal and external communication on ESG-related topics.

• You perform ESG-related tasks for which you are the project manager. You support and monitor ESG actions carried out by Galactic's internal green team or external partners.
• You will assist project leaders in the execution of their tasks and ensure that obstacles are overcome.
• You manage the entire ESG action chain and are responsible for monitoring KPI reporting.
• Together with the R&D Director and the green team, you play a key role in the development of the group's ESG strategy.
• You study the certifications in the field of ESG and apply for the corresponding certifications.
• You build a network within the ESG world in order to stay informed of upcoming changes.
• You will manage internal and external communication regarding ESG efforts and progress within Galactic.
• You will involve employees in the change of the company's overall culture towards more sustainability.
• You participate in ESG events.

Profile

You have a Master's degree in a scientific field, preferably with a specialization in green chemistry or sustainability.

• Proven experience as a cross-functional project manager.
• A first professional experience (2-5 years) is considered a plus.
• Good written and oral communication skills in English and French.
• Good command of MS office 365.
• Be prepared to undertake occasional travel.
• Be multi-project and autonomous.
• Have strong communication and organizational skills.
• Carry out one's work with liveliness.
